Eduexcellence Lynnwood

EduExcellence is a group of exclusive private schools, with a campus in Lynnwood Glen, Pretoria and Noordhoek, Cape Town South Africa.

“1 in 12”
By ensuring that your child is in a class of no more than 12 learners we know that they can get the attention they deserve.
EduExcellence is a group of schools focusing on quality small class education.

Each EduExcellence campus offer two educational streams:
Our Schools (Grade RR to Grade 12) offers the Cambridge Curriculum to small classes (up to 12 learners) in a home-like environment. Here we choose to include learners with so-called ADD/ADHD and the parent’s choice to medicate or not.
Our Centers (Age +-5 years old to 21 years old) support learners who will not follow a fixed academic curriculum. Instead we focus on functional literacy, numeracy, and independent living skills.

OUR SCHOOLS

Learners entering our school benefits from a homelike environment with smaller classes (max 12 learners per teacher!), allowing for individual attention in line with our Personal Education tagline. So-called ADD, ADHD and children in need of remedial education are all welcome as our unique approach addresses these ‘conditions’ at its root whilst providing an enriching learning environment for those searching for alternatives to mainstream. TheraEd is inclusive in our fee structure and presented to all children on a daily basis, assisting learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to cope with our integrated academic curriculum.

We currently have two remedial schools one in Lynnwood, Pretoria and the other in Noordhoek, Cape Town.

NOTE not all our campuses currently offer all the Pre-Primary Grades RRR and RR nor High School. Please check with you campus.

PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL

± Ages 4 – 6  (Grade RRR – R)

Our Pre-Primary School welcomes lively, inquisitive and giggling toddlers between the ages of 4 and 6 years of age. Our friendly and homelike environment allows for safe exploration within a structured environment.

Curriculum

As preparatory phase for more formal academic work, we recognise the importance of perceptual development, movement and a sense of adventure.

Even though we have a structured environment, we allow for exploration of the themes within a brain-based approach to our Integrative Theme Based Curriculum. This curriculum addresses foundational Literacy, Numeracy, Sensorial Stimulation and Practical Life.

We place a strong emphasis on neuro-development as this is a optimal phase for development and growth.
