Edendale Technical High School
The Edendale Technical High School opened its doors on the 2nd of August 1956.
The school catered for students needed skills of brick laying/making and building, carpentry upholstery, painting, sign writing, basket making and weaving.
he high school section became independent of the college in 1994, the enrollment then was 340 students mostly boys with 12 girls who were doing the newly introduced commercial section. The school offers the technical and commercial streams. At first, girls were reluctant to take technical subjects but through motivation by the management and staff and we have electrician�s work matric class of 19 girls and four boys.
The school offers computer literacy courses of all its learners using 24 computes donated by Netday Forum. The school has achieved a log of accolades in sports and academically. Our matrics have since 1994 achieved and average of 85% pass rate. In 2011 our matric pass rate was 95%.
